I had my first real crush with a boy named Kevin (hee..hee.. kevin (xrobin3)... I'm not talking about you okay! ) He's American Thai and was really cute. My best friend at that time, Niels (he's a boy) used to play with Kevin. Kevin and Niels would like burnt the heads off their army toy soldiers and I would tagged along. I think I was about 7 or 8 years old and Kevin was like 11 at that time.
So one day I told Niels about Kevin while we were exchanging secrets about our crushes. A few days later, we had dinner together at Kevin's parents' restaurant. After dinner, Niels and I sat on a bench outside the restaurant and Kevin and his buddies walked in.
Trust my best friend, Niels - He said, "Kevin, Hui Xian likes you!" RIGHT IN FRONT of all his friends! I shot right out of the chair, ran into the restaurant, slammed the door and went straight to sit in the toilet. It took me a while to get out because I was so EMBARRASSED. When I came out of the toilet, dad scolded me for slamming the door in a full restaurant!
