GIMP!!!

ok well i just downloaded GIMP because my adobe free trial expried.and i was downlding a bunch of brushs from http://browse.deviantart.com/?catpath=resources/applications/gimpbrushes/&order=9&alltime=yes&offset=96 and none o them showed up on the GIMP thing. why not? please help

i think you have to load them into gimp first.
i have gimp as well but im not using it much, i'll check it out for you

edit:
i downloaded mine and it works.
maybe you forgot to unzip it in winzip.
or the brush wasnt in its proper/supposed location.

go to http://pstogimpbrushes.deviantart.com/art/ewanism-s-tape-brushes-32826844 and download that brush. this is just a sample.
your winzip should open after a few seconds.
you should read the whole thing, after reading click next
then keep on doing so until you reach the part where it says in bold, "click unzip now to unzip to selected folder"
click on select different folder.
click on "local disk"
then "program files"
>> gimpshop >> share >> gimp >> 2.0 (or whatever version you have) >> brushes
then click unzip now
open your gimp
click on the brush tool
scroll a bit down, and your brushes are there.

ok i did it all but i can't ind the unzip now
were is it located. maybe you can show a scren shot?
and whats a winzip?

let me tell you happens when i do it.
(fist ill tell youwhat happends when i hit opn)
i download the brush. and then WINRAR ZIP ARCHIVE pops up and says.
open save and cancle. and i hit open. an WINRAR opens up (winrars icon thingy is books.) and then i X the thing out.

Now this is when i hit save.

i download the brush. then WINRAR pops up and i hit SAVE out of open SAVE and cancle.once i hit save. i click local C progam files then gimp the 2.0 and then brushs. OK? no once im there my only options are to save it. and i don't see any UNZIP NOW

please help.

WinZip is a program that unzips zipped
files, it's okay if you don't have it because
you can still unzip files without it :D
You just have to go to the file with the brushes
then right click, then click Extract I think ;)
