a little of both...my blog use to be one big page, but after a while, it get reallllllllllly long!

I think if you have one looooong page, it takes very long for other bloggers to download your blog. Sometimes I gave up when I have to wait too long.

I prefer a 10 pages blog- not more. Some bloggers don't know how to go to the 11th page. You would need a page directory when you have different pages.

I voted no for bio of celebs in blogs unless you are doing only one particular blog for the celeb.
