Bon Jovi guitarist and estranged husband of actress Heather Locklear has denied he was seeing new girlfriend Denise Richards before his marriage ended.
Richards stunned Hollywood when she hooked up with Sambora just months after her ex-best friend Locklear started divorce proceedings against him.
Richards is herself going through a bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen, leaked court papers revealed that Richards had obtained a temporary restraining order against her husband she she feared for her safety and that of her children.
Sambora claimed to US Weekly that had not been unfaithful to Locklear, he said: "I will do anything to enable all of us to move past all of this. I remained faithful during my marriage. And I defy anyone to refute that."
A representative for Sambora added: “His family is his number one priority. Richie is the greatest guy, and he wouldn't do anything to hurt anyone close to him."
Tell that to Sheen and Locklear…
