over-protective parents

My parents arent over protectives! Icon_emotions16

I can watch MTV watch kissing scenes, buy CDs, i can even kiss boys! They dont really bother about what i do, sometimes yes and sometimes no. But i still cant have a bf!

Ohh and further more, they banned me from DISNEY CHANNEL. No offense Americans, tey said America is a bad country and the TV related to it are also bad.

- ok, face it, most movies, or rather TV shows, have KISSING scenes !!

- I buy whenever I want to.. all my mom will say is "you have a lot of money is it?" in a joking way.. lol

- Sometimes my mother will hover around the computer.. and sometimes they'll ask about what I'm doing.. but its acutall quite difficult to explain to them about the net..

- I can buy.. if I have the money.. lol

- They'll ask, and I'll explain.. when I don't want them to get overly paranoid, I lie to them about the person being my friend's whatsoever..
Its like if I tell my mum I was chatting with someon on ASC, she'll say, "what if she is lying to you about her age? its not really safe".. so inorder to avoid all the explaining.. I just take the easy way out..

- I always go to forums.. but they will always just ask what I'm doing..

- I don't wear revealing clothes.. lol..

nancy, I'm so sorry that your parents are over-protective..
But there's a weird bit about parents..
its that one second, they say "You're big now, you should know how to blahblahblah"

and the other 'You're still a kid" or "You'll always be a child in my heart"

and you feel like reassuring them, but always end up rolling your eyes, or giving them the "oh whatever" look or speech..

the only thing I can say is: bear with it !!!

now I'm older, they give me allowance for a week..

It includes ALL of my expenses, like stationary, bus fares etc. (except handphone bill of course)

So I'll save and I buy what I want now.. :D

Just wait till you're older.. they'll slowly learn to let go..
