Do you have over-protective parents? Well, I do.
*They BAN me from watching MTV
*They dont allow me to watch ANY movie with kissing scenes
*They dont allow me to buy teen magazines nor magazines
*They check out what I do in the internet
*They wont lemme buy CD's if the photo on the CD cover is a bit revealing
*They wont let me chat with people I dont know on Messenger. [But I always lie to them, I'll say she/he is my classmate or something]
*Im not allowed to go to forums except for ASC [I explained to them ASC is safe, and they believed me, but they wont let me go to other forums so I dont tell them]
*They wont let me wear clothes that are at least a teensy-bit revealing
It's really irritating sometimes! One time, my father gave me a lecture on that show on TV and I told him Im old enough and mature enough to know whats the difference between reality and TV. And he told me I am starting to rebel and he gave me YET another lecture.
It;s really irritating to have over-protective parents. One day, I want to tell them THat I have grown up and they have to accept the fact that I AM growing older.

I buy Teen Magazines.......I dont read Pre-Teen magazines like Julia (its like Totalgirl) anymore
Im allowed to buy Britney Spears album XD
I chat with ANYONE on MSN, I even chat with a guy from Denmark LoLz
And I absoloutly wear anything XD
I was Nicole in PCD in our presentation XD
I thought I had overprotective parents........but I guess not

MTV is <3
Kissing scenes are nothing! I watch Desperate Housewives and The OC with my mom and she says nothing even in the *ehem* scenes.
I buy magazines every week, but I love tabloids and such, so it dosen't matter
I dont chat with people I dont know cuz I dont really want to XD
I wear whatever I want to, my mom just laughs if it's revealing
But dont worry Nancy, someday your parent will give you some freedom

I can totally relate!
But they;re just that way and I'm positive that theree's a reason!
I mean, like now, I'm so a teen already and I can't to loads of stuff others do. But I know it;sfor a reason.
Example: I watch a PG13 movie when I wasn't allowed to. The scenes are stuck in my head and I'm crazy!
Don't worry. they know what the best is. take it from me
they know when the right time is. At least they care for you. Others just let their kids scamper on the road with no slippers. Others just let their kids take a bath in the flood! Others don't even get to surf the inet.

I am allowed everything that you are not allowed except that i am not allowed to chat on MSN with people who are not known to me except for you guys at at the ASC> Reaveling clothes aren't much of a problem cause if they reveal too much i myself will feel shy to wear them. My dad like my minis. LOL
