Okay, so I'm curious. What does love mean to you (relationship-wise), and how is different from anything else as a feeling?

Is it an emotional longing? Is it a physical attraction (his/her looks)? Is it a mere crush that may or may not last? Is it absolute infatuation, knowing that you are blinded by the truth?

Here's my answer:

To me, love is undefined (very contradictory, I know). It varies from time to time. It can be a quick connection between two people (a spark, in a sense) that sets off when ever you're both together. But on the other hand, it can be something that develops over time (as in, discovering feelings and trying to figure the other person out). It's caring for someone, it's wanting to be with someone. But the whole concept of someone conquering your mind so that you think of them 24/7 doesn't make sense to me; for all you know, it could just be fake. IF you don't know who he/she is as a person, and you're just admiring him/her from a distance. Personally, I don't believe in 'love at first sight'. It's probably LUST! Or, the person just made a very good first impression, lol. But, in the long run, I believe that love is very hard to find these days, since it's either there or not. Sure, you have to work at it when it comes to the relationship itself, but true love... well, you just FEEL it.

I'm turning 13 soon, and I haven't the slightest clue what I'm talking about. Hah. That's just how I think. I've had two boyfriends so far, and a bunch of friends with these relationships, and we're kind of "deep". I don't go out with a guy and break up with him two weeks later. I usually just find them as a "best friend" with mutual feelings.

But, at the moment, I just got over a break-up. I'm feeling bitter towards the male population at the moment (sorry guys!) since my ex-bestfriend/ex-bf is a jerk. I know I'm young, but wisdom comes with experience, and not age. But I'm joining the single bandwagon, and I do not expect to get anything too serious for a while anyway. I don't know it all, but I'm getting to it.

What do you guys think?

I don't really believe it when someone esp during his/her teenage years says s/t like "OMG. I'm totally in love with you." YES, i don't deny it's just that peron's way of expressing his/her emotions.

But to me, if you really wanna get serious, LOVE is much more than just a feeling. And HEY, besides it all started from God! God is love, he loves all of us! so he created humans. And it was all for LOVE :D

And what i'm trying to say is, LOVE is more than just a 'good feeling' you have for someone, then you start a relationship etc.. it's so much more than that. Love is caring, it's kind, but it also needs to be mature at times cuz sometimes love is more than just //

"Oh i'm so in love with you and i'm NEVER EVER
gonna let anyone get in the way of it."
Now THAT's what i call immature love. No offense though hahaa :P
and one more thing, that's just called
INFATUATION

Love needs to be caring and attentive at times.
But love also needs discernment :)
Just because someone says ILY doens't mean that he/she is really in love.
Yes, i don't deny i say it's just an expression of your feeling,
like what i said earlier :)

For me, i don't really agree with having a BF/GF while you're studying.
Yes, it might be fun i don't deny. My friends get so hyper at times hahaa :P

The thing is, if you try to think clearly. Having a relatioship takes up a lot of your time. If you really really really notice it, you may see that most of your free time is spend either gawking at that guy's pic, sending him a msg, or just thinking about him blah blah etc. AGAIN, no offense :P

Anyway, if you really wanna know what's love in Shurie Whurie's opinion
